Ryan Matthew Carver, 28, of St. Louis, formerly of Farmington, died May 31, 2020, at his home. Mr. Carver was a graduate of Herculaneum High School and an active member of Jubilee Community Church in St. Louis, where he loved participating in community outreach programs. He enjoyed spending time being creative doing computer graphic design and drawing. Born Nov. 12, 1991, in Crystal City, he was the son of Carla (fiancé Barry Cartwright) Carver of Round Lake Beach, Ill., and Bryan (Kim) Carver of Fredericktown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Caleb Carver and Adam Carver of Fredericktown; his grandmother: Mary Spade Whitener of Olivehurst, Calif.; his aunts and uncles: Bob and Barbara Seper of San Antonio, Texas, Richard and Carolyn MacMootry of San Diego, Calif., Thomas Chase of Swansea, Ill., Jim and Nancy Dismuke of Fredericktown, Rick Spade of Olivehurst, Calif., Doug and Denise Kinnerson of Woodward, Okla., Denny and Beverly Whitener of Fredericktown and Larry and Wendy Whitener of Waukegan, Ill.; his church family at Jubilee Community Church; many cousins, other family members and friends; and his loving canine companion, Reeses.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John W. Carver, Jaqueline (Sarsch) Carver, B. D. Whitener and Dathine (White) Whitener; and an aunt: Cleora Chase.
A memorial was held June 6 at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown, officiated by Dr. Bryan Moore and Pastor Andy Krumsieg. Burial was in the Barber-Whitener Cemetery at Twelve Mile.
