Russell Linn Weiss, 67, of Festus died Feb. 11, 2017, at his home. Mr. Weiss, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, worked for AT&T in engineering and design. He loved baseball and was an avid Cardinals fan. He loved music, especially the Beatles, playing softball, bowling, animals and classic cars. Born Aug. 16, 1949, in St Louis, he was the son of the late Harold and Peggy (Horn) Weiss.
He is survived by a brother: Harlan (Cecilia) Weiss of Festus; a sister: Cheryl (Clarence) Dallas of Bonne Terre; nieces and nephew Melodi Fischer, Travis Fischer and Jeannie Weiss; and his cat, Jazz.
Funeral services and burial were private. Memorials may be made to Little League Baseball. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
