Ruby June (Walker) York, 88, of High Ridge died Nov. 19, 2017. Mrs. York was an Avon representative for 20 years, earning many awards. Born May 20, 1929, in Cyril, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Nora and Edgar Walker.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years: Earl York of High Ridge; three children: Ronald (JoAnn) York of Eagan, Minn., Jeffery (Kathy) York of West Fargo, N.D., and Cheryl Bracken of St. Louis; six grandchildren: Christopher, Trisha, Eric and Michael York and Cailey and Alexis Bracken; and three great-grandchildren: Harper, Isabella and Ava Ruby York.
She was preceded in death by four siblings: Albert Walker, Robert Walker, and twins Lanell Walker and Janell Walker.
Memorial services were Nov. 21 at St. Louis Cremation Services, officiated by the Rev. Peter Gounis. Arrangements were under the direction of St. Louis Cremation Services.
