Wagner, ruby

Ruby Jewell Wagner, 85, of De Soto died Nov. 14, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Wagner was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and collecting angels. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre and Amvets Post 48. Born Aug. 1, 1932, in La Panto, she was the daughter of the late George Moiser and Flossie (Duty) Walton.

She is survived by two sons: Wesley (Julia) Neal of Piedmont and Shawn (Carla) Wagner of Bonne Terre; four daughters: Elberta Greenhaw of De Soto, Donna (Steve) Heathscott of De Soto, Cheri (Steve) Woods of O'Fallon and Monica Kelly of St. Louis; three brothers: Charles (Virginia) Moiser of De Soto, Earl (Jeanie) Moiser of De Soto and Bill (Barb) Walton of Arnold; a son-in-law: Larry Sansoucie of De Soto; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather: Earl Walton; a daughter: Ellen Copeland; a brother: George Moiser; a sister: Pauline (the late Cliff) Schott; two sons-in-law: Jim Greenhaw and Craig Kelly.

A funeral service was held Nov. 18 at Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto. Burial was in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
