Roy Lee Medley, 75, of Herculaneum died July 9, 2020, at his home. Mr. Medley was a retired parts manager with Wiese and a 37-year member of Teamsters Local 618. He loved spending time with his family, going to the lake, hunting and fishing, watching baseball, being in the garage with the guys all week and Saturday nights at the I-55 Raceway. Born May 17, 1945, in Festus, he was the son of the late Clifford and Coeen (Coplin) Medley.
He is survived by his wife: Jo Ann (Carter) Medley; five children: Stacy (Beckey) Medley of Hillsboro, Troy Medley of Hillsboro, Jeremy (Kim) Medley of Herculaneum, Joey (Donna) Williams of Cedar Hill and Paula Williams of Festus; two sisters: Linda Williams of Fredericktown and Sue Myra of Valles Mines; three brothers: Richard Medley of Festus, Tommy Medley St. Louis and Wayne Medley of Hillsboro; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Frank Medley; two sisters: Mickey Portell and Mable Coplin; a niece: Stephanie Medley; his father-in-law: Leonard Carter; and a son-in-law: Mark Ashe.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Reeve Foundation for Guillan-Barre Syndrome research. Arrangements were under the direction of Bell Funeral Home in Pacific.
