Rosemary Martha Erxleben, 99, of Hillsboro died Dec. 5, 2021, at Scenic Nursing Home in Herculaneum. She enjoyed working in her garden, shopping and watching her great-grandchildren play sports. Born June 14, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy and David Stowell.
She is survived by a son: Robert (Gayle) Erxleben of Salem, Ill.; a daughter: Sharon (Charles) Catanzaro of Hillsboro; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Richard (Sandy of St. Louis) Erxleben; two brothers; and a sister.
Services were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
