Rose Marie (Sprock) Hill, 92, of High Ridge died Feb. 27, 2022. Ms. Hill was a member and past president of American Legion Post 400 Auxiliary, a member of Knights of Columbus Council 8588 Auxiliary and a member of the St. Anthony’s Sodality. She was born July 4, 1929, in High Ridge, the daughter of the late John and Clara (Delbruegge) Sprock. She was preceded in death by her husband: Victor R. Hill Sr.
She is survived by three children: Victor R. (Michele) Hill Jr., Jane E. (William) Moore and Kathleen (John) Murphy; eight grandchildren: Victor III, Bradley, Timothy, Jessica, Holly, John, Michael and Thomas; nine great-grandchildren: Cooper, Evelyn, Wyatt, Gwendolyn, Theodore, Keenan, Chelsea, Abigail and Colby; and a sister: Clara Gansner.
She was preceded in death by five siblings: Viola Aselman-Helfrich; Dorothy Zimmerly, John Sprock, Eugene Sprock and Norman Sprock.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-8:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood, in Fenton, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 3009 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge. Arrangements are under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home.
