Ronald W. Aubuchon, 74, of High Ridge died April 30, 2022, in High Ridge. Mr. Aubuchon worked for many years at the Union Railroad as a switchman and a brakeman and retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad in 2007. He was a member of United Transportation Union Local 1388. He enjoyed fishing, spending his time in the garden and reading. Born Sept. 7, 1947, in Washington, Mo., he was the son of the late Edward and Alice (Bone) Aubuchon.
He is survived by his wife: Frances (Cox) Aubuchon; two children: Ronald Aubuchon Jr. of St. Louis and Sandra (Michael) Biego of Cedar Hill; five grandchildren: Autumn Biego, Kassondra Biego, Nathan Aubuchon, Ronald W. Aubuchon III and Angie (Jason) Anselman; two great-grandchildren; two siblings: Edward Aubuchon of Dupo, Ill., and Eric (Cecilia) of Arnold; and many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother: Alan Aubuchon; and a sister: Robin (Aubuchon) Brelsford.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will immediately follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans or to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
