Ronald “Ron” Charles Aubuchon, 73, of Hillsboro died Jan.14, 2022, at his home. Mr. Aubuchon was a vice president of marketing-sales for the Blue Cross-Blue Shield Association, a postmaster at the Mapaville Post Office and owned the All Weather Sewer Service, Inc. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 6401 and Elks Lodge 1721. He was a graduate of Epiphany of Our Lord School, Bishop DuBourg High School and Southeast Missouri State University. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his dog Sherlock and tending to his animals. Born Oct. 17, 1948, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Alta (Sickman) and Arnold Aubuchon.

He is survived by his wife: Jeanne (Greffet) Aubuchon; an aunt: Opal Sickman; two daughters: Stephanie (Kevin) Robben and Victoria “Tori” Aubuchon; three granddaughters: Josephine, Evelynne and Genevieve Robben; and numerous family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Cindy Coleman.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. preceded by a morning prayer service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 703 Third St., in Hillsboro. A live stream of the service will begin at 11 a.m. on the church’s website. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or to St. Pius X High School. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
