Ronald Lee Arndt Sr., 80, of Hillsboro died Jan. 20, 2014, in Hillsboro. Mr. Arndt was a printer-pressman for Central States Diversified and a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Navy. Born Feb. 22, 1933, in Buena Vista, Va., he was the son of the late Joe Campbell and Elsie Arndt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley R. (Lawrence) Arndt.
He is survived by seven children: Glynda (John) Bilgere of Hillsboro; Dianne (Bill) Hutchins of Catoosa, Okla.;
Barbara (Samuel) Boushie of Titusville, Fla.; Ronald L. Arndt Jr. of De Soto; Dennis Robison of Hillsboro; Ron Robison of St. Louis; and Mark (Lisa) Robison of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Alicia, Michael, Jason, Denise, Samuel and Amanda; and two great-grandchildren: Dalton and Natalie.
Funeral services were held Jan. 24 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Ken Vogel. Burial was in the Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Ware. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
