Ronald Eugene Ahlersmeyer, 49, of Bonne Terre died Sept. 14, 2021, at Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur. Mr. Ahlersmeyer was a truck driver and horse trainer. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 600, the Nakota Horse Conservancy and Park Hills First Church. He enjoyed horses, softball, hockey, fishing, barrel racing and history. Born Sept. 29, 1971, in St Louis, he was the son of the late Lydia Jean (Stranghoener) and Robert George Ahlersmeyer Sr.
He is survived by his wife: DeOnna (Harris) Ahlersmeyer; a son: Michael Anthony (Lauren Michelle) Ahlersmeyer of Wright City; a daughter: Shelby Ahlersmeyer of Bonne Terre; a brother: Robert Ahlersmeyer Jr. of Imperial; two sisters: Pamela (Dennis) Smith of High Ridge and Paula (John) Wenzelburger of House Springs; three grandchildren: Midori, Theodore and Madeline and one to be born; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Ahlersmeyer.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Mahn Funeral Home, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus, immediately followed by funeral services. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
