Roland J. Schiller Jr., 79, of Imperial died Oct. 12, 2022. Mr. Schiller enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals, bowling, casinos, horse racing, camping, traveling and spending time with his dogs.
He was born Feb. 26, 1943, in St. Louis, the son of the late Marie (Kelly) and Roland J. Schiller Sr. and the stepson of the late Esse Schiller.
He is survived by his wife: Marylyn (Stohlmann) Schiller; two sons: Steve and Matthew Schiller;
a brother-in-law: Ralph (Norine) Brindley; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, including those at The Woodlands and at Alternative Hospice. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph (Fran) Schiller and Edmond (Marie) Schiller.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Arnold, the Humane Society of Missouri, the St. Louis Zoo or to Stray Rescue. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
