Roger Lee Huskey, 45, of Pevely died July 17, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County.
He was a master carpenter and worked in the construction industry. He was a member of the Spirit of St. Louis Church in Fenton.
Born May 11, 1969, in St. Louis, he was the son of Ronald Huskey Sr. of Pevely and the late Ruth (Wood) Huskey.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother: Louise Huskey of Pevely; a special friend: Gail Duffin; three brothers: Ronald W. (Lori) Huskey of Pevely, Robert Huskey of Festus and Randy Huskey of south St. Louis County; two sisters: Ginger (Ronald) Hedrick of Farmington and Renee (friend Steve) Wooldridge of Hillsboro; one brother-in-law: Greg Yates; one sister-in-law: Rhonda Gardner; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister: Regina Yates; and one brother: Rick Huskey.
A memorial gathering will be at 3 p.m. Monday, July 21, until a memorial service at 7 p.m., at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Tom Skiles.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Association.
