Rodney K. Sherrill, 56, of Wappapello, formerly of Robertsville, died Sept. 21, 2017, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Sherrill was a member of the Pacific and Wappapello Eagles and the Wappapello VFW. He enjoyed being with his friends, muscle cars, shuffleboard, riding his rhino and being at the lake. Born July 4, 1961, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Janet (Wille) and Robert Sherrill. He is survived by his wife: Lesley (Hurst) Sherrill.
He is also survived by five children: Jeffrey (Tiffany) Sherrill of High Ridge, Michelle Sherrill of Wildwood and Brandon (Tristyn McClanahan) Brown, Tommi Mangnall and Jessica Mangnall, all of Wappapello; three grandchildren: Braydon, Colton and Indiana; three siblings: Julie (Ben) Price of Dallas, Roy Sherrill of Hazelwood and Bruce (Stephanie) Sherrill of Cedar Hill; a father-in-law: Jim Hurst of High Ridge; a mother-in-law: Dianne (George) Rodenmeyer of Farmington; two sisters-in-law: Lisa (Dan) Hardesty of Eureka and Cindy Hurst of Farmington; a best friend: Wayne (Angie) Wells of Robertsville; two friends considered as parents: Ralph and Jan Callahan of West Point, Va.; a longtime family friend: David Page of Hazelwood; four dogs: Rufus, Piglet, Molly and Gabby; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
