Robert W. Woods, 72, of Imperial died April 11, 2020, at Woodland Manor in Arnold. Mr. Woods was a district service manager for Hewlett Packard. He served as a specialist rank 5 in the U.S. Army, and received the National Defense Service, Army Commendation, Vietnam Campaign and Vietnam Service medals. Born May 11, 1947, in Patterson, he was the son of Mary M. Dunavant and John P. Woods.
He is survived by his wife: Lana (Young) Woods; a son: Dan (Terri) Woods of Festus; a daughter: Angela Guyott of Festus; three grandchildren: Chloe and Carson Guyott and Cheyenne Woods; and three sisters: Mary Allen, Sue Jackson and Ruth Hays.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Johnny Wiedemann.
Private service will be at Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County, officiated by Kenny Qualls. A celebration of life at the First Baptist Church of Arnold and an Honor Guard service at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks will be scheduled later. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
