Roskowske, Robert

Robert Lee Roskowske, 85, of High Ridge died Aug. 5, 2021, at his home in High Ridge. Mr. Roskowske was a member of Frontiersman Camping Fraternity and served in the Royal Ranger organization. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a master craftsman and artist and was known for his generosity, loyalty and work ethic. On Sept. 16, 1955, he accepted Jesus as his personal savior and was baptized in the Holy Spirit, beginning a relationship that never wavered throughout his life. Born June 24, 1936, in Valley Park, he was the son of Otto and Daisy (Huff) Roskowske.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years: JoAnn (Parker) Roskowske; two children: Shela Clayton and Robert (Johnna) Roskowske Jr.; five grandchildren: Devan (James) Kelemen, Franklin (Alicia) Clayton Jr, Robert Roskowske III, Justin (Erika) Roskowske, Brandi Roskowske; eight great-grandchildren: Vivian, Skylar, BreElla, Lela, Easton, Maximus, Lyle and Remi; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by three siblings: Arthur, Luella, and Otto Jr.

A funeral service was held Aug. 13 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
