Robert Lee Browning Sr., 83, of Pevely died June 4, 2018, in Columbia, Ill. Mr. Browning worked for the Central Illinois Railroad and retired from Local 110 as a union carpenter. He owned and operated the B&B Door Co. and the OK Corral Bar and Grill in De Soto, and also worked as a truck driver. He was a founding member in about 1955 of the Death Dodgers Motorcycle Club. Born Feb. 6, 1935, in Sidell, Ill., he was the son of the late Joyce Bell (Huskisson) and William Browning. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years: Mildred Joann (Seaman) Browning
He is survived by four children: Robert L. Browning Jr. of Pevely, Michael W. Browning of Belleville, Ill, Steven L. Browning of Festus and Bryan W. Browning of Pevely; nine grandchildren: Jillian Browning of Hillsboro, Michelle Bates of Belleville, Doug Browning of Belleville, Andrew Browning of Festus, Emily Larimore of Desloge, Lauren Browning of Festus, Michelle Foster of Waterloo, Ill., Rachel Canales of Summerville, S.C., and Amanda Dillon of Waterloo; 13 great-grandchildren: Brock Browning, Bryson Browning, Haden Browning, Hawkins Browning, Tyler Bates, Mackenzie Bates, Amira Browning, Audrey Larimore, Karter Browning, Aurora Jean Foster, Landen Foster, Junior Foster, Alice Dillon and Gracie Canales; one great-great-granddaughter: Mae Bates; a sister-in-law: Karen Krameisen of Jacksonville, Fla.; a niece: Vicky Kirby of Denver, Colo.; and a great-nephew: James Risenhoover of Peyton, Colo.
Burial was in the Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery in Hillsboro. Arrangements were under the direction of St. Louis Cremation.
