Robert F. Chapman, 76, Arnold

Robert F. Chapman, 76, of Arnold died Nov. 19, 2022, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mr. Chapman worked as a hod carrier out of Laborer’s Local 110 and retired as a custodian from Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Webster Groves. He was a member of B.P.O.E. 689 and was a booster for Amvets Post 48 in De Soto. Born June 9, 1946, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Alvera A. (Bressler) and Charles R. Chapman Sr.

He is survived by five children: Robert F. (Judy) Chapman Jr. of Largo, Fla., Tina (Steve) Risinger of Jackson, Michelle (Keith) Tosie of Valley Park, Dwayne (Michelle) Chapman of Jackson and Jason (Trazarra) Chapman of Paris; four sisters: Patricia Holt of De Soto, Alice Suiter of De Soto, Arlene Parton of De Soto and Charlene Wougamon of Murphysboro, Ill.; a brother: Harold Chapman of East Islip, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Judy Jackson and Mary Northcutt; four brothers: Charles R. “Chuck” Chapman Jr., William “Bill” Chapman, Russ Chapman and John Paul Chapman; and one grandson: David Austin Chapman.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the funeral services at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at the First Free Church, 1375 Carman Road, Room 312, in Ballwin and will be officiated by Martin Becktol. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
