Robert “Bob” Campey, 83, of Fenton died April 23, 2020. Mr. Campey was a former president of the Shriners Antique Classic Car Club. He enjoyed collecting antiques, hunting, fishing and working on cars. Born Jan. 5, 1937, in St. Louis, he was the son of Lena (Beck) and Leo Campey.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Renella “Jean” (Vandeveer) Campey; two children: Darla Deane (Brian) McAllister of Indiana and Robert “Wayne” (Dava) Campey of De Soto; seven grandchildren: Randy, Kevin, Matthew, Jeffrey, Mickey, Calynn and Megan; 13 great-grandchildren; a sibling; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Carla Rena Heitz; and two siblings.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, Cedar Hill. Attendees will receive numbers as they arrive and wait in their cars until called inside by number. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
