Rick J. Hook, 65, of Festus died Oct. 26, 2020, at his home. Mr. Hook was a retired computer programmer for Abbott Ambulance Services in St. Louis. He was a member of the Glassworkers Country Club and the Festus-Crystal City Conservation Club and enjoyed fishing and listening to music. Born Aug. 20, 1955, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Patricia M. “Patsy” (Karl) and Myrl Hook of Festus.
He is survived by his wife: Robin (Wigger) Hook; three stepsons: Kenneth (Rachel) Salters of High Ridge, Anthony Salters of House Springs and Bryan Salters of House Springs; two sisters: Lynn Zoellner of Festus and Barbara (Phil) Gagliardi of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; two granddaughters: Jayne Salters and Jewell Salters; five nieces and nephews: Jamie (Alan Barry) Zoellner, Lindsey Zoellner, Melyssa Zoellner, Matthew (Sara) Nausley and Jacob Nausley; and numerous other family members.
Private family services were held. Memorials may be made to Our Lady Catholic Church in Festus. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
