Richard R. Pashea, 69, of Cadet died Feb. 2, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Pashea was a production worker for Sure Seal and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cadet. Born July 3, 1948, in Tiff, he was the son of the late Roy John and Stella Theresa (Boyer) Pashea.
He is survived by his wife: Theresa (Hinch) Pashea of Cadet; three children: Richard (Deaneen) Pashea of Avilla, Ind., Connie (Brad) Bryant of De Soto and Kevin (Kelly) Pashea of De Soto; eight siblings: Rose (the late Tom) Ravenscraft of Winfield, Margie (the late John) Govero of St. Louis, Patricia (Wayne) Culley of Springfield, Carolyn (Charles) Courtway of St. Louis, Delores (Paul) Patterson of De Soto, Audrey Rutledge of De Soto, Rhonda (Gil) Brooks of Florida and James Pashea of Blackwell; and four grandchildren: Tyler, Alex, Malana and Matthew.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10120 Crest Road, in Cadet, officiated by Father Richard Tillman. Burial is in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in Cadet. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
