Richard P. Grow, 73, of Hillsboro died April 2, 2021, in Crystal City. Mr. Grow worked in the insurance industry. He owned Custom Rooms and Cabinetry and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born July 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Edith (Johnson) and Robert Grow.
He is survived by his wife: Susan (Stryker) Grow; a son: Ben (Ashlea) Grow of Festus; a daughter: Jessica Reed (John Manning) of De Soto; three grandchildren: Jenna Reed, Charlotte Grow and Gerald Manning; a brother: Robert (Jennifer) Grow of Munster, Ind.; and a sister: Susan (Ray) Cross of Rochester, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Cathy Locke.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Jane Bryda. Private burial will be at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
