Richard C. Bodenburg, 80, of Arnold died Aug. 15, 2018. Mr. Bodenburg was retired from Ameren U.E., where he worked for 58 years and was a supervisor. He loved his dogs, Duffy and Toby. Born Oct. 8, 1937, he was the son of the late Verna (Doerr) and Carl Bodenburg.
He is survived by his wife: Virginia “Jean” (DeGonia) Bodenburg; and one son: Christopher Bodenburg.
He was preceded in death by one daughter: Cynthia Bodenburg.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Aug., 20, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 10181 Gravois Road, in St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
