Raymond Irvin Hicks Sr., 60, of Cadet died Aug. 15, 2019, at his home in Washington County. Mr. Hicks was a retired IUOE Local 513 operator. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and riding his Harley Davidson. He loved horseback riding, rabbit or deer hunts and spending time with his friends and family. Born Feb. 22, 1959, he was the son of the late Jean and Raymond Hicks.
He is survived by his wife: Pamela Hicks; two daughters: Melissa Hicks and Holly Hicks, both of Cadet; five brothers: John (Susan) Hicks of Cadet, Albert Hicks of Cadet, Jim (Elaina) Hicks of Cadet, Dennis (Patty) Hicks of Farmington and Paul Hicks of De Soto; and three sisters: Carol (Gary) McDonald of Alpine, Tenn., Elizabeth (Gary) Boyster of Farmington and Virginia (Jerry) Detter of De Soto.
He was preceded in death by a son: Raymond Hicks Jr.
The family has chosen to schedule a private family service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
