Raymond E. Fasnacht Jr. 76, of Hillsboro died Sept. 20, 2019, at his home. Mr. Fasnacht was an autoworker and a supervisor with Chrysler for 37 years, and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Born March 31, 1943, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Beatrice (Siebert) and Raymond E. Fasnacht Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Rose Ann (Moore) Fasnacht of Hillsboro; five sons: Raymond E. Fasnacht III of Pevely, Joseph W. (Cyndi) Fasnacht of Cedar Hill, Thomas R. (Mary) Fasnacht of Pevely, James M. (Stacy) Fasnacht of House Springs and Shawn A. (Crystal) Henry of Fenton; a daughter: Karen M. Chitwood of Fenton; a sister: Judith A. (Dave) Johnson of Virginia; 10 grandchildren: Timothy, Daniel, Ashley, Anna, Jacob, Michael, Matthew, Amber, Brandon and Rachel; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Shawn M Henry.
A memorial gathering is at 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct 5, at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro, officiated by Deacon Dan Raidt. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
