Ranetta Sue (Arnold) Gordon, 71, of Eureka died Nov. 24, 2020, in Eureka. Mrs. Gordon was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Contra Costa, Calif., the daughter of the late Randall Mitchell and Mabel Lorene (Thompson) Arnold. She was preceded in death by her husband: John D. Gordon.
She is survived by three children: Anne (David) Aubuchon of Lee's Summit, John D. Gordon Jr. of Johnstown, Pa., and Brandi (Greg) Schwarz of Webster Groves; two siblings: Lorett (Randy) Hayes of Clemson, S.C., and Tony (Donna) Arnold of Beaufort, S.C.; seven grandchildren: Samantha Gordon of Farmington, Colin Aubuchon of Lee's Summit, Logan Schwarz of Webster Groves, Ellie Schwarz of Webster Groves, Brooke Eubanks of Festus, Alec Grangruth of Dickson, Tenn., and Nick Grangruth of Albert Lea, Minn.; and other family members: Douglas Arnold Sr. of Honolulu, Gail Watts of Pueblo, Colo., Brenda Gordon of St. Charles, Bryon Kavlick of Chesterfield, Christopher Kavlick of Stilwell, Kan., Colin Arnold of Washington, D.C., Ryan Arnold of Seattle, Wash., Randy Arnold of Dallas, Ga., Cheryl Arnold of St. Louis, Stephanie Sharpless Pearson of Winchester, Va., Teri Sharpless Philosophe of Baltimore, Md., Amanda Sharpless of St. Louis, Doug Arnold of Frisco, Texas, Lisa Arnold of San Diego, Calif., and Tom Kavlick of Pevely.
She was preceded in death by a son: Michael D. Gordon; and two siblings: Stanley Arnold and Iva (Arnold) Kavlick.
A celebration of life will be planned for early 2021. The date and locations have not been determined.
