Randy Lee Sitze, 61, of De Soto died Jan. 11, 2019, at his home. Disabled with multiple sclerosis, he was baptized on March 20, 2005, at Alpine Baptist Church. Born Oct. 5, 1957, in St. Louis, he was the son of Glenda Irvin Sitze Davis of De Soto and the late Harley Sitze.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son: Shawn (Stacy) Mack of Lemay; a sister: Renee (John) Kennedy of St. Louis; five grandchildren: Zachery, Owen, Kshe, Michael, Miles and Jeffrey; two great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Abby.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Wayne Davis; and his grandparents: Roy and Hattie Irvin and Luke and Beulah Sitze.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sat. Jan. 19, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel, 203 Bass St., in Marble Hill, officiated by the Rev. Randy Poole. Private burial will be held in the Old Union Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutchings Funeral Home.
