Ralph Leroy Rice Jr., 57, of De Soto died Dec. 3, 2021. Born May 20, 1964, in Sullivan, he was the son of the late Shirley May Rice and also the late Iris Logan Rice.
He is survived by his wife: Sheila (Brooks) Rice of De Soto; four children: Sheleenna (Michael) Barnett of De Soto, Devin (Emily) Heaston of De Soto, Lacey (Brian) Smith of De Soto and Derek Heaston of De Soto; three foster children: Payten, Ariana and James Crump, all of De Soto; five siblings: Christine (Gary) Smith, Debbie Castleman, Sandy (the late Andrew) Ross, William Rice and Anna (Mike) Storz; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Ron Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at River Christian Center, 506 Austin St., Potosi, with Bobby Brown officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
