Photene Anne “Frances” Schwarz, 74, of Windsor, Ill., died July 15, 2017, in Arnold. Mrs. Schwarz was a retired registered nurse and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Born Jan. 6, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George Leonidas Siolas and Mildred (Von Behren) Siolas. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Schwarz.
She is survived by three daughters: Tina (Leo) Akers of Salina, Kan., Julie (Dave) Julian of Arnold and Bobbi Lynn Schwarz of Arnold; three sisters: Jeannie Kasotakis, Penny Aldava and Rosemarie Bakos; a brother: Daryl Von Behren; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., Friday, July 21, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, followed immediately by funeral services officiated by Andy Becker. Burial will be at Neoga Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church music ministry fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
