Perry Ellis “Perry Bud” Richardson Jr., 81, of De Soto died June 14, 2017, at his home. Mr. Richardson worked for Fred Weber Construction and was a member of Operating Engineers Local 513. He served in the 106th Ordinance Company of the Missouri National Guard and was a member of Elks Lodge 689, Amvets Post 48 and VFW Post 1831. Born May 19, 1936, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Perry Ellis Richardson and Lucille (Henry) Bauer Richardson Hall.
He is survived by his wife: Reba (Robertson) Richardson of De Soto; a daughter: Julie (Bill) Boardman of De Soto; two sisters: Laura (John) Haverstick of De Soto and Eva Hall of De Soto; and seven grandchildren: Jayden, Cristlyn, Adelyn, Perry, Draven, Zach and Colin.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Patty Missey; a son: Perry E. Richardson III; and two half brothers: Bob Mahn and Jay Richardson.
A funeral service was held June 17 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. G. Michael Rose. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
