Penny Denise Fisher, 53, of Festus died Feb. 14, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Fisher was a sales associate for Sears department stores. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her fiance, their friends and their dogs, Izzie and Sparkles. She also loved spending time with her family, especially with her daughter and grandchildren.

Born March 8, 1965, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Inaze Evelyn (Ray) Anderson of Festus and James Herman (Lyn) Fisher of Drexel Hill, Penn.

In addition to her parents and step-parents, she is survived by one daughter: Candice Missey of Rolla; five grandchildren: Eli, Cole, Dalylah, Tessa and Jayden; her fiance: Brian Howard of Festus; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Greg (Kathy) Fisher of De Soto and Cathy (Rich) Barnett of Festus; Brian’s mother and special friend: Carma Howard of Festus; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and their spouses and children.

She was preceded in death by grandparents: Sam and Mary Fisher, Emeline (Oral) Cowin and Paul Pogue; one sister: Sandy Schilly; one great-nephew: Dawson Schilly; along with many aunts and uncles whom she also loved dearly.

A memorial gathering will be from 5 p.m. until the memorial services at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Larry Grubbs. Memorials may be made to the National Autism Association, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 350, Bethesda, MD 20814, or a local animal shelter. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
