Peggy Ann White, 72, of Festus died Dec. 10, 2022, in St. Louis. Mrs. White worked as a waitress for many years before retiring. She enjoyed shopping and traveling with family. Born March 13, 1950, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Georgia May (Rodebaugh) Gastro.
She is survived by three daughters: Linda (Larry) Armstrong of Festus, Cathy (Doug) Ditch of Bloomsdale and Tina (Jimmy) Sieker of Bloomsdale; a brother: Michael Gastro of Festus, two sisters: May Ellen (Ron) Klingert of Lake of the Ozarks and Lorraine (Tim) Cagle of ST. Peters; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Thursday, Dec. 15, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale. Memorials may be made to Autism Speaks. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
