Pearl (Roll) Schwandt, 91, Medina, Ohio

Pearl (Roll) Schwandt, 91, of Medina, Ohio, formerly of Hillsboro, died Feb. 8, 2022. Mrs. Schwandt and her husband moved from Racine, Wis., to Hillsboro, where they were active with the Christian Outreach Church ministries. Later Mrs. Schwandt settled in Medina, where she was a member of the Medina First Christian Church. Born Jan. 26, 1931, in Kekoskee, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Ida (Frank) and Otto Roll.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: Paul R. Schwandt, whom she married in June 1950 in Kekoskee.

She is survived by five children: Sharon Palmer of Columbus, Ohio, Karen (Richard) Eddy of Elk Grove, Calif., Scott (Deborha) Schwandt of Medina, Wendy (Chris) Denman of Somers, Wis., and Jeff (Terri) Schwandt of San Antonio, Fla.; a sister: Marlene McEarthron of Germantown, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by three sisters: Anita Gerbitz, Wilma Wilson and Emily Weber; a grandson: Thomas Schwandt; and a son-in-law: Dennis Palmer.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday (Feb. 25) at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Burial will be in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to the Christian Outreach Church, 4430 Outreach Dr., Hillsboro, 63050.
