Patsy Jo Parker, 90, of St. Louis died March 14, 2022, at the Laclede Groves Retirement Community in St. Louis. Mrs. Parker and her husband, Charles, raised their family in Collinsville, then moved to Piedmont and then back to the St. Louis area. After her husband’s death she moved to Hilltop Manor in Eureka, and later to assisted living at Lutheran Senior Services. She had many family outings to the St. Louis Zoo, Forest Park, Cardinals baseball games and enjoyed barbecues, family parties, going to beauty parlors with her sisters, fishing with her family at Clearwater Lake, playing poker and attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s games and events. Born July 23, 1931, in Kennett, she was the daughter of the late Hazel (Light) and Allie Finley.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Parker, whom she married June 23, 1956, at the Church of Christ in Washington Park, Ill.

She is survived by two children: Sherry (Rick) Weible of Labadie and Terry (Vicki) Parker of Caseyville, Ill., two grandchildren: Kristen (Kevin) Rogan of Wildwood and Kyle (Tammy) Weible of Eureka; eight great-grandchildren; two family friends: Ross and Angie Kimbrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters: Inez (Tommye) Vitale, Aileen Casey, Burleen Edwards and Fern Berry and their husbands; and two brothers: EJ Finley and Guy Finley.

Burial will be at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. A celebration of life will be held later this year. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home, Ballwin.
