Patsy A. Howard, 78, of Leadwood died Nov. 12, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Howard was a homemaker. Born March 1, 1940, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Pauline (Erny) Christopher. She was preceded in death by her husband: Terry Howard.
She is survived by two children: Dan (Monet) Howard of St. Charles and Randy (JoAnn) Howard of Wildwood; two sisters: Judy Speidel of De Soto and Betty Christopher of Ironton; one sister-in-law: Joyce Christopher of De Soto; two grandchildren: Laura Howard and Patti (Brian) Longworth; and three great-grandchildren: Ava, Ayden and Alexis.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard “Dick” Christopher Sr. and James (the late Mildred “Mimi”) Christopher; and one brother-in-law: James “Jim” Speidel.
Visitation will be from noon until the memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Bruce Valle. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
