Robinson, Patrick

Patrick Lee Robinson, 45, of Jefferson City died Aug. 6, 2021, at Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City. Mr. Robinson was a senior structural technician with the Missouri Department of Transportation, designing many bridges during his 21-year career. He was a 1994 graduate of Eldon High School and received a degree in design drafting in 1996 from Linn State Technical College. He was a volunteer firefighter in Eldon, a member of Jefferson Lodge 43 A.F. & A.M. and one of the founding members of the Demolay in Jefferson City, and participated in plays at the Stained Glass Theater. He was a member of Jefferson City Church of Nazarene and helped in the sound booth and with vacation Bible school. He was born Nov. 6, 1975, in Kirkwood, the son of Lora Lugene (Hogan) Robinson of Jefferson City and the late Rick Robinson.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Anne (Collins) Robinson, whom he married on Dec. 30, 2000; a brother: Christopher (Amanda) Robinson of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister: Kelli (Joshua) Turner of Jefferson City;  two brothers-in-law: Rick (Trish) Collins and Tom (Lyn) Collins; three nieces and nephews: Chelbi Robinson, Braedon (Ashlyn) Collins and Ivy Collins; and a great-nephew and -niece: Boyd Collins and Jules Collins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Merle Robinson and William “Dub” and Glenda Hogan; an aunt: Lisa Hogan; three uncles: Mike Hogan, John Robinson and Denny Perkins; a cousin: Jake Hogan; and a nephew: Kyle Collins.

Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Wes Phillips. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
