Patricia Turley, 73, of Festus died April 9, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Turley was an elementary school teacher who taught in Columbia, Mo., and Virginia Beach, Va., before retiring from Our Lady School in Festus. She was a member of Our Lady Catholic Church and active with the Harvest League Garden Club. Born March 17, 1946, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Mariam (Brower) and Emil Ederle.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Michael R. Turley; a son: James Michael Turley of Katy, Texas; a daughter: Alisyn (Ryan) Beffa of Festus; a brother-in-law: Jim Anderson; and three granddaughters: Gabby Beffa, Paige Beffa and Addie Beffa.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Judy Anderson and Jean (the late Joe) Harster.
A memorial service was held April 15 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial will be in the Hematite Methodist Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
