Patricia Ann Hardin, 63, of Belton died Dec. 20, 2020, at her home. She was a devout Catholic and longstanding parishioner of St. Thomas More Parish. She graduated from Avila University and was a four-year volleyball letterwoman. Pat was inducted into the University's Sports Hall of Fame in 2016.
Over her corporate career in the healthcare industry, she founded three companies and was most passionate about Phoenix Healthcare Solutions. She served in numerous capacities on hospital and healthcare boards and advisory committees, including two terms on the Board of Trustees at Notre Dame de Sion where she was chairwoman of the board from 2011 to 2013. Her work spanned multiple states and introduced her to one of her favorite places, Pensacola Beach, Fla., where she enjoyed spending time at the beaches and on the gulf.
She was born July 15, 1957, in Imperial, daughter of Adeline Cronin and the late Jack Cronin.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, J. Robert Hardin; a son: Derek (Nikki) Hardin; a daughter Erin (Chris) Kiella; a brother: Gary (Karen) Cronin; two grandchildren: Finley and Vaughan, and a third grandchild is expected soon; the Avila girls and their families; and her Allendale family.
A sister, Jo Ann Cronin, preceded her in death.
A private service will be held with a celebration of her life to be planned for a later date. Memorials may be made to Notre Dame de Sion High School, 10631 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Arrangements are under the direction of McGilley State Line Chapel in Kansas City.
