Pat Fields, 77, of De Soto died Jan. 15, 2015, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Fields was a manager at De Soto Shell and also worked in the office of the Jefferson County Circuit Clerk in Hillsboro. She was a member of the Victoria United Methodist Church in Victoria. Born May 11, 1937, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Loretta Louise (Umphenour) Huskey. She was preceded in death by her husband: Henry Hatcher Fields.
She is survived by three children: Loretta Rhives of Hillsboro, Daniel (Tracey) Fields of French Village and Stephanie Fields of House Springs; two siblings: Mary Pashia of De Soto and Richard Huskey of St. Louis; six grandchildren: Amanda Murray, Brandy (Bobbi) Mullis, Josh (Ashlee) Fields, Shawn (Jenny) Rhives, Randy (Caitlyn) Fields and Tyler Fields; six great-grandchildren: Justin, Ella, Chase, Cambry, Cara and Lydia; and dear friend Elbert “Bub” Luh of Victoria.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Etta Louise Huskey, Verna Lee Huskey and Stanley “Sonny” Huskey.
Funeral services were held Jan. 19 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, with the Rev. Nancy Hollingsworth officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
