Pamela Jo Allison, 67, of De Soto died Feb. 27, 2017, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Allison was a homemaker and the owner of Allison Professional Cleaning Services. She loved dairy farming, gardening, bird-watching, horseback riding and traveling to horse shows with close friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family around the kitchen table at the farm, discussing current events and sharing stories. She also was a mentor to young women farmers in her community. Born March 23, 1949, in Annapolis, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Barbara (Johnson) Kiser. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years: Larry Allison.
She is survived by one son: Charles Allison of De Soto; two daughters: Brandy (Andrew) Allison of Illinois and Adrian (James) Temperato of Festus; four grandchildren: T.J. (Andrea) Tidwell, Paige (Chris) Allison, Sam (Danielle) Temperato and Daniel (Morgan) Temperato; one brother: Jock (Sheree) Kiser of Granada Hills, Calif.; one sister: Karen (Gerry) Kiser of Chansassen, Minn.; and three great-grandchildren: Nixon Tidwell, Chace Temperato and Kinley Temperato.
Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 1118 Hampton Avenue, St. Louis, 63139. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
