Harlow, Pamela

Pamela Aldena Harlow, 72, of De Soto died Sept. 26, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Harlow had worked as a baker for Brophy’s Place on the Jefferson College campus. She was a member of Corning Church of Christ in Corning, Ark. She enjoyed cooking, mowing the grass, camping, fishing, gardening, listening to music, reading and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Born July 22, 1949, in Gideon, she was the daughter of the late Alden and Pearl (Jackson) Hedge.

She is survived by her husband: Walter "Rick" Harlow, whom she married on Nov. 21, 1970, in Hillsboro; two sons: Erick (Denise) Harlow of Festus and Todd (Kelly) Harlow of De Soto; a daughter: Michelle (Ricky) Hart of Newburgh, Ind.; three brothers: Donald (Donna) Haskins of Saint Johns, Delmar Hedge of Perryville and David Hedge of Biggers, Ark.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Christina Poyner.

A funeral service was held Oct. 1 at Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Jeff Fleeman. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
