Orbin Edwin “Doober” Sions III, 56, Crystal City

Orbin Edwin “Doober” Sions III, 56, of Crystal City died Nov. 30, 2021, at his home. Mr. Sions worked as a cook for Callahan’s Southern Kitchen in Imperial. He enjoyed fishing. Born April 16, 1965, in Festus, he was the son of the late Patricia Jean (Morrison) and Orbin Edwin Sions Jr.

He is survived by four sisters: Claudine (Ronnie) Smith of Cuba, Mo., Joyce (Wayne) Davis of Festus, Sharon Viglasky of De Soto and Mary (Dale) Doyle of Festus; a brother: Thomas Fetters of De Soto; four nieces: Rhonda (Justin) Teague, Katie (Brett) Kribs, Patty (Adam) Yasuk and Chloe Doyle; a nephew: Chad (Dawn) Fetters; and 14 great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be from 11 a.m. until a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 11) at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Homes.
