Kirby Glenn Pierce, 52, of Hermann died June 12, 2024. Mr. Pierce worked in the tool and die industry for many years. He is remembered as a hardworking man who loved his family and was known for his knowledge and expertise. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, long motorcycle rides, and spending time with his family. Born Oct. 26, 1971, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Alice Gertrude "Trudy" (Woolsey) and Glenn Fay Pierce.
He is survived by his wife: Cindy Simmons; two sisters: Melissa (Kirt) Wilkinson of Arnold and Paula (Aaron) Mattingly of Foley, Ala.; two children: Crystal Brown of Bland and Jessica (Michael) Nappier of Sullivan; a son-in-law: Noel Tatkenhorst of Cuba; 11 grandchildren: Reese, Joshua, Cole, Danielle, Dominick, Ethan, Joshua, Gage, Contessa, Matt, and Deyinaira (Wesley); four great-grandchildren: Owen, Tucker, Cyrus and one to be born; several nieces and nephews, including Marissa (Chris) Braun; several great-nieces and great-nephews, including Adaline Braun; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Heather Tatkenhorst; and a son-in-law: Joey Celli.
Visitation will be from noon until services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 Lynn St., in Lebanon. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery near Falcon. Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
