Winifred G. ‘Winnie’ (Trent) Floyd, 89, of Arnold died June 10, 2023. Mrs. Floyd was retired from the Chrysler Corp. and was a member of First Baptist Church in Arnold. She was born Oct. 12, 1933, in Pfeiffer, Ark., the daughter of the late Winfred E. and Vivian Trent. She was preceded in death by her husband: Hershel Don Floyd.
She is survived by two sons: Harold D. Floyd of Arnold and Steven W. (Carolyn) Floyd of St. Charles; five grandchildren: Vivian J. Eberhardt, Edward H. Floyd, Christina M. Floyd, Steven M. (Audrey) Floyd and Amanda N. Travis; five great-grandchildren: Connor Eberhardt, Evan Floyd, Anna Floyd, Isabella Floyd and Franklin Travis; a brother: Reggie L. (Betty) Trent of Bowling Green, Ky.; twin sisters: Brenda S. (Teddy) Felder and Linda L. (Lauren) Felder, both of Little Rock, Ark.; four nephews: Richard Trent, Darrin Trent, Randy Felder and Byron Kever; three nieces: Vivian M. Webb, Kristen Felder and Diane Holloway. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Teddy Felder; a sister: Betty Trent; and a nephew: Warren Kever.
A graveside service was held June 17 at Egner Grove Cemetery in Salado, Ark. Arrangements were under the direction of Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, Ark.
