William J. Jordan, 96, of Festus died July 25, 2023, in Festus. Mr. Jordan enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family. He was born April 29, 1927, in Ozark, Ark., the son of the late William T. and Audrey J. (Marshall) Jordan.
He is survived by his wife: Ruthann M. (Siems) Jordan of Festus; two sons: William E. (Jan) Jordan of Lake St. Louis and Gary N. (Cherri) Jordan of Perry County; a daughter: Barbara J. (Michael) Rhodes of O'Fallon; two stepsons: Jim T. (Kelly) McClure of Cedar Hill and Kurt M. (Debbie) McClure of Bonne Terre; a brother: Jerry K. (Gail) Jordan of California; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Wilma Jean Meyers and Ava Dean Gatlan.
Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
