Waylon Wallace Payne, infant, died Aug. 14, 2023, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Waylon was born Aug. 9, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, the son of Whitney (Edwards) and Dustin Payne of Bloomsdale.
In addition to his parents, Waylon is survived by three siblings: Addison, Raegan and Jaidyn of Bloomsdale; four grandparents: Kelly Schwartz of Ste. Genevieve, Jeannine and Tony Radin of Bloomsdale and Michael Payne of Ste. Genevieve; and four great-grandparents: Florence Stafford of Crystal City, James and Charlene Schwartz of Ste. Genevieve and Fayo Edwards of Festus. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Scott Edwards.
A private service was held for family and friends in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
