Thomas Edward Vaughn, 81, of Festus died June 21, 2023, at Crystal Oaks Rehabilitation Center in Festus. Born July 8, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Roberta Evelyn “Berdie” (Auzat) Vaughn-Langelier and Edward A. Vaughn.
He is survived by his wife: Marcella Grace (Schmidt) Vaughn; a daughter: Mary (Craig) Schaumburg of Crystal City; five siblings: John (Delores) Vaughn of Las Vegas, Nev., Mike (Vicky) Vaughn of Crystal City, Ellen F. (Leroy) Horstmann of Festus, Mary Bradley of Crystal City and Susan Lalumondier of Highland, Ill.; and three grandsons: Cole, Cyle and Cale Schaumburg.
He was preceded in death by a stepfather: Christopher Phillip Langelier; a sister: Ruth Eicher; a sister-in-law: Kathy Vaughn; and two brothers-in-law: Leroy Bradley and Donald Lalumondier.
Celebration of life will be held in September. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
