Ruth Ann Dornseif, 79, of Arnold died June 19, 2023. Mrs. Dornseif was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Arnold Eagles, where she served as co-chair of the Monday night bingo. She enjoyed crafting wood plaques, painting and scrapbooking and loved flowers. Born Dec. 20, 1943, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Mary Christine (Evans) and Donnie Amos Brooks.
She is survived by her husband: Milton O. Dornseif of Arnold; four children: Debbie (Carl) Frank of Fenton, Michael (Debbie) Foster of Fenton and Donna Foster and James Foster, both of Imperial; three stepsons: Daniel (Toni) Dornseif of St. Charles, Thomas (Valinda) Dornseif of Hillsboro and Michael Dornseif of De Soto; a brother: Joseph Brooks of St. Charles; a sister: Rita Brooks Muhurin of West Plains; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Richard Lee Foster; four brothers; and one sister.
Mrs. Dornseif chose to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held later at the Arnold Eagles. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
