Ronald Louis ‘Ronnie’ Lalk, 65, of Hillsboro died Aug. 25, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Lalk was a laborer and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially on the family farm, and loved animals and fishing. Born Feb. 3, 1958, in Risco, he was the son of the late Bonnie (Box) and Henry Louis Lalk.
He is survived by two children: Heather Shiadek and Ronald Louis Lalk Jr., both of House Springs; two siblings: Mike (Lisa) Lalk and Pamela G. Lalk, both of Hillsboro; and three grandchildren: Kyle and Connor Lalk and Jimmy Shiadek. He was preceded in death by a son: Adam Lalk; and a sister: Diana S. Thomson.
A graveside service was held Aug. 28 in the Sandy Cemetery in Hillsboro. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
