Ralph Harry Reynolds, 92, of Pevely died Sept. 1, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Reynolds retired as a custodian for the Dunklin R-5 School District. He enjoyed playing his mandolin and guitar, singing and spending time with family and friends. Born Aug. 8, 1931, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Harry T. and Blanche N. (Merrill) Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Lou (Walker) Reynolds.
He is survived by a daughter: Sharon Reynolds Pyatt of Pevely; two sons: Scott Reynolds of Pevely and Tim (Doreen) Reynolds of Weatherford, Okla.; a sister: Erna Melkus of De Soto; a sister-in-law: Dixie Reynolds of De Soto; a brother-in-law: Bob Siebels of De Soto; six grandchildren: Alan (Tiffany) Beckman, Renee Chootanon, Josh (April) Reynolds, Steven Jeremy Reynolds, Elizabeth Reynolds and Manny (Jennifer) Reynolds; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Ralph Steven Reynolds; a grandson: Harry Thomas Reynolds; two sisters: Jan Siebels and Glenice (Don) Drake; two brothers: Jerry (Alma Marie) Reynolds and Orville Reynolds; and a brother-in-law: George Melkus.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
